Hello! I first want to thank you for stopping by my website! It has taking me along time to get to this point but I couldn't be happier!

People often ask what to expect at there session?

Well, I have a casual, more documentary style of photography. I challenge myself to capture the special moments between individuals. Those are most likely the expressions that you see most in one another every day. You will find me talking to you a lot, with special attention in engaging your children in the moment.
I know portrait-time can be thought of as a stressful time, but I want you to enjoy more than your images, but also the experience of making those images.
I gravitate towards the natural posing that people do, but may offer posing suggestions as needed, in order to benefit the final look of your portraits. Also, attitude is everything. A grumpy disposition, whether a child’s or a parent’s, can show up in your final images, so I ask that you come to your session with an open mind, keeping in mind that you are creating precious memories that you will cherish for decades to come. I believe I have mastered the art of bribery with young ones and am stock piled and prepared to work my magic to get those childhood memories.


What got you into photography?

Well it's simple, with 4 kids that have their own unique personalities that don't always work together at times made it a challenge and stressful to go to an un named "photography" studio and TRY to capture who my family was. I had been told several times that I should come back on a different day cause my kids was not cooperating. I would leave in tears after all the hard work of finding the right outfits, doing everybodies hair and nails. (I have 3 girls, hair and nails are important) Then when they finally "capture" my family, I just was so dissatified because they often times didn't take the time to tell me my hair was looking a bit frazzled or the sucker that they had given my kid to cooperate was now stuck to there shirt. They didn't even take the time to get to know us. So I would walk away with a photo that holds no personal memories and had cost me an arm and a leg. Not to mention the experience was less than ideal. So a few years ago I found myself unemployed so I went back to school got my degree in Photography, started taking pictures of my kiddos and eventually it blossomed from there. I had grown up looking at and I would say studying photos that my Dad had taken on his vacations so I have always had an appreciation to the art of photography. Now I am excited that I get to be the artist! :)
